The first Henan-made Zhongqing T800 humanoid robots have rolled off the line, giving the province a visible product in the humanoid robot category. Among the products displayed, a photovoltaic operations and maintenance robot produced by SolarCleano, a Luxembourg-based robotics research and manufacturing company, attracted particular attention. Shi Xianjun, head of SolarCleano’s China region, said the robot is a global first. It can achieve autonomous cleaning and inspection for ultra-large power stations, with cleaning efficiency exceeding 99.5 percent. It can also provide full-process automated solutions for complex scenarios such as deserts and the Gobi.
SolarCleano settled in the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone in September 2025, began construction in December, and rolled out its first products in June this year. The sixth Henan-made large photovoltaic cleaning robot has already completed assembly and is scheduled to be shipped to Turkey in September.
